How is "Windows 95" part of the name in the app's title bar? Did the Win95 version of MSIE always do that?

Yes. This is the only website I could think of that I knew would run in Windows 95. I was also able to run this site in Windows for Workgroups 3.11.

Oof. This brings back memories of my old Gateway 2000 desktop, 56k dial-up internet and my crummy Queens apartment with huge roaches.

We've come pretty far in 22 years. Assuming we don't blow ourselves up, computers 22 years hence (in 2039-40) will be beyond anything we can imagine today.

Assuming we don't blow ourselves up

Why didn't you say "assuming others don't try to blow us up"? Do you presume Iran and North Korea to be responsible owners of nuclear weapon stockpiles?

IAWTP. My wife got stuck with 8 and it's really frustrating. I have 7 at home and 10 at work. 10 is ever so slightly better than 7 - though I still have many of the same issues.

Windows 7 was the best thing Microsoft has ever put out.

Second place IMO was Windows 2000 with Office 2003.

Windows 10 doesn't play well with the VDI we use at work.

By the way, your post reminded me of this gem:

My main gripe with Windows 7 is that it still has memory leaks. I have to reboot every few days because it just gets slower and slower after a while. You'd think after 25 years they'd have forced all applications to give up all memory when you close them.
