Posted by Olog-hai on Wed Aug 16 12:45:46 2017 KEYW, 98.3 FM, Pasco WA New Details Released in Officer Sword Shooting Investigation By Stacy Lee August 15, 2017 8:10 AM A press release from the Kennewick Police department reveals new details including the name of the suspect and the names of the officers involved in Sunday’s killing of a sword-wielding Kennewick man. The Tri-City Special Investigative Unit (SIU) is continuing the investigation into yesterday’s officer involved shooting that occurred at 10^th and Olympia. The Kennewick Police Department is not involved in the investigation since it involves KPD officers. The suspect in this case has been identified as 46-year-old Hussein Hassan, who resided in Kennewick. The Kennewick Police officers involved in this incident are Officer Joshua Kuhn, who has 15 years of service with the Kennewick Police Department and Officer Jason Kiel, who has almost 20 years of combined service with the Kennewick Police Department and the Washington State Patrol. As the investigation continues, SIU is asking for anyone who may have witnessed or who may have recorded this incident to contact Sergeant Brockman of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at 735-6555. According to media reports, the officer who was injured need 17 staples to close his wound and will recover.

I never seen federal police cars and buses, with lights and everything till I was in Tejas. Considering I've never seen an AP photo with them ever, I wonder what they do except for looking fancy.
