So when the police arrest somebody and bring them to jail, they are mostly innocent? You do realize that Sheriff Joe isn't doing that himself, running around in the radio car locking people up. It's the sheriff's deputies who are doing that.

The people at the police stop or initially pulled over because the police suspect them of committing a traffic violation and or other violation and or breaking laws. If the police pulled over somebody mainly because they look Mexican and they arrested them for that, then the cops are stupid for doing that.

If I was a cop and my Superior told me to carry out an unlawful order, I would not. In fact as in the military, the police department's do not have to follow unlawful orders that their superiors give them.
