If the MTA operated a skydiving service...

Posted by BrooklynBus on Sun Jun 25 10:14:20 2017

I read a joke in this month's Readers Digest that made me ask myself the question if this would happen if the MTA was in the skydiving business.

A man goes skydiving because it is on the bucket list. He is told that if the main chute fails to open, he should pull the reserve chute. Then when he lands, there will be truck waiting there to pick him up. So he pulls the main chute and it fails. Then he pulls the reserve chute and it also fails. Then as he is plummeting to the ground he says to himself, "I should have realized the truck wouldn't be there either."
