Pulisic is one of the best young players in the world.Among the world's teenaged players, only France's Killian Mbappe' is better IMO. He's the best we have ever produced at that age. At age 17, he wasn't just playing for Borussia Dortmund, he was STARTING for them. In the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!! With one of the best clubs in the world!!! He's the youngest foreign player to ever score in the Bundesliga. An American! Not just some German-raised American like Fabian Johnson, Jermaine Jones, Anthony Brooks, etc but a kid born and raised in Pennsylvania. Some glimpses of him on YouTube His footwork, speed and "soccer intelligence" are off the charts. He's also small with a low center of gravity. Let's hope he doesn't get hurt. |

Being the best player ever for the US is a pretty low bar. Not sure we've ever had a top 100 player. If he ends up being a highly regarded player it will be pretty significant for US soccer. We're probably the best soccer nation with the most mediocre players. Everyone else on our level has decent players and occasional very good ones. |
