In 3 days of recounting in Wisconsin, Hillary has lost more than 18,000 votes. Why, yes it is true.

Who said they're checking voter eligibility in recounts? Besides it would be southwestern states, NY and California and places with big illegal populations that would prove voter eligibility one way or the other.

And even if they were inclined to check the eligibility of voters, they couldn't do that as part of the counting; secret ballot, remember?

So you're saying that the general process known as a "recount" never includes any examination of the population that voted and whether there were significant numbers of ineligible voters?

Obviously if one were to find a significant population of ineligible voters one would not be able to correlate them with actual votes cast. Oddly enough, I do understand that.

As to your first paragraph, I doubt it unless they were specifically asked to check that, and then they would have to figure out a methodology. The records would hardly say "citizen" or "non-citizen."

Why is it a bad move? When the story reached my Facebook page, it sounded ridiculous. I thought that the intent of my second sentence would be clear, even without the seljerk like [ :) ]. I guess not.
