Cory Booker didn't say anything wrong (for the most part) but everything he was saying was obvious and he was talking it all way too seriously. I couldn't keep listening. It was painful. I changed to Amazon prime streaming when the disabled woman came on. Then I went back to broadcast for the first lady. I tried to watch it but after three minutes I was like I don't care enough and I turned it off. It almost makes me sick that a vote against Trump rewards people like this and like bingbong. Even though I can't bring myself to vote for him, I almost sort of hope Trump wins just to piss off people like them. Of course that could also make me and the nation suffer for four years. I don't know if it would be worth it. I mean of course it wouldn't be worth it, but I wish it was. |

I'm born and raised in Brooklyn. If I move to Chicago and live there for the rest of my life, 30 years from now, I won't be a Chicagoan, nor refer to myself as one, because I'm a NYer who's living in Chicago. Everyone wants to call themselves a NYer, but that title only refers to those of us who grew up here. |

It was an extremely distatsteful comment and completely and utterly wrong.Don't smear people thinking you're making some sort of joke. This isn't funny. We are facing a serious threat to the nation and the world as a whole with this trump candidacy. As I recall it, and it was some time ago, the issue was trump interfering with Bloomberg's network, not some deal gone wrong. (And trump has more than the normal share of those) He was committing some variety of sabotage on Bloomberg's business. |

Yet the daily numbers show Trump's lead widening even during the convention. Sooner or later you need to face the reality that Hillary Clinton is a seriously flawed candidate and that "at least I am not Donald Trump" is not reasonating with voters. Voters do not like the thought of Trump in control of the launch codes, but they also do not trust any word that comes out of Clinton's mouth. I know people who were ardent Obama supporters who are now voting for Trump because they do not believe for an instant that she will actually embrace anything but Wall Street cronyism notwithstanding her speeches. They feel that since Trump does not need the money in order to run, he will embrace more options than Hillary if he feels that it will ultimately be good for the value of the U.S. Dollar because the one thing Trump does not want is to see his investments drop in value. |
