The Democrats need to win all the states (and DC) that they've won in the past six presidential elections plus Florida to win the presidency in November. If the Republicans win each state they have won in the past 6 presidential elections, they somehow have to find 168 more electoral votes to get to 270.

Pretty much in London just to crash for each night. Out early on the train to visit out of town railroad museums and the like, back at night around 9 and grab some takeaway from M&S to bring back to the flat. Take a shower, eat while checking email, and then grab a few hours of sleep. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Based on what I know about you, I would not expect you too.

It's not about converting Obama supporters.

It's about Trump attracting elements who have not been energized before. Look at me. I did not vote in the primaries and don't support Trump, and I'm portrayed here as some kind of Dittohead staunch conservative. And Trump is doing find without me.

I don't know a single person who voted against Obama in 2008 and 2012 who support Trump. They all wanted someone else, but not Trump.

Obama did an amazing job of getting out the minority vote, black in particular. Black turnout will drop slightly in Florida, Virginia, and Ohio.

Whoever wins Dem primary, will almost have to have a black VP. An all white ticket would not work. Gov Patrick available for VP?

Trump has like 9% Hispanic support. Dubya got 40%. 44% is required to win election today.

I'm pretty sure that Sanders would be a single term president because of his age. The same holds for Clinton and Trump. This is the baby boomer generation's last hurrah.

Regarding Congress and the gerrymandered House. This was accomplished by making fewer overwhelming Democratic districts and more marginally Republican ones. A Democrat who appeals to Republicans (the semi-sane ones) has a good chance of altering that dynamic. That's Sanders' forte not Clinton's.
