Posted by Joe on Sat Feb 13 13:17:13 2016 Midday yesterday, 2.12.2016, a thief pulled a gun on the driver of a car who was attempting to sell a pair of Air Jordan sneakers for cash. After the thief left the car, the driver pinned the guy against a fence, and the thief lost his arm. Without it, he attempted to board a B103 on Avenue M near East 86th Street, Canarsie. One story says he demanded a Metrocard. Another said the bus driver refused to take him unless he retrieved his arm. He left, and the arm apparently caught up with him at Brookdale Hospital.For this news story, check the Daily News website or use canarsie as key word on some news index as news.google.com --- The Daily News website has a photo of a bus on Avenue M, but I cannot make out the fleet number. --- The comments on the Newsday site are considerable, not considerate.
