After all, yesterday was ALSO Pancake Day, or, here in Pennsylvania, Fastnacht Day, but IHOP has Pancake Day a month from now... |

Yes, I know...but IHOP's corporate event, also called Pancake day, never coincides with shrove Tuesday. LuchAAA thinks it's part of a "war on Christianity" by IHOP. |

Italians don't eat standard pizza by the slice for lunch. What it usually is, is a square or rectangular focaccia or in Puglia, a fried panzerotto (a type of calzone). I never understood why panzerotti never really came to America. With our love (and abuse) of fried stuff, it would have made the guy a billionaire, especially in the Southern US. |

There are some sit-down restaurants like Trulli that have them but I still haven't encountered a take-out place that does. A friend of mine said that there's a place in Camden that has them. |
