That's not pizza; it looks like someone tried to make lasagna but ran out of noodles, so they used a crust instead.I'd even prefer Japanese pizza, with squid and ginger topping. |

Yet they couldn't even place one Chicago pizzeria in the top 10.(OTOH, I'll finally have something to do in Anchorage, if I ever go there). In different times, the writers of this article would be burned at the stake. At the very least they would be put in a mental institution. This is Pizza Ologism. |

Midtown (where the touristas go) has turned into a Disneyland of Pablum served up by Reese and other chains instead of the good old hole in the wall pizza joints that made NYC famous for it. Sure you can get the real thing in the outer boroughs, but you're not going to find much of anything good in Touristaland.I was highly disappointed the last few times down there - the pizza isn't even slightly comparable to what's made up here by city refugees. So let's raise a toast to Chicago - Disney hasn't eaten it yet. |

Even ignoring Deep Dish, the thin crust available in Chicago is infinitely better than NY's ketchup on a cracker with string cheese they call "pizza". |

There is a pizzeria in Tampa who imports his cheese from Wisconsin. He says it's better and says that is why pizza in the midwest is so good. Because it's fresh from farms in the area.I'm surprised a vegan like yourself would eat any pizza. NY has some good pizza. Especially Long Island. NYC it's garbage unless you go to DiFara who imports his cheese from Italy. |

I haven't been abroad save London. That was in 1993 and I enjoyed it and a few times I forgot I wasn't home because it seemed so similar to home but alas a triple A city. I doubt there is anything else like New York City in the world. And this is not a boast or a slight to other cities around the globe. The sheer size and speed of NYC are unparalleled. |

One of those days I drove up to Milwaukee to see the ballpark and tour the miller brewery and during the drive back to Chicago I saw the skyline in the distance and thought thank God I'm home. I really liked your town man. Great architecture. World class. |
