And now that's out of the way, here's how this all is going over in Iran:http://www.globalpost.com/article/6641126/2015/09/02/us-congress-warming-nuclear-agreement-what-about-irans-politicians I am proud to have been involved in unintentionally handing out thousands of copies of KNOS to the students in Tehran back in 2011 after the "Day of rage" against the government. It helped them capture, edit and put out videos across the planet and our code helped them escape the limitations of the internet at the time and get those videos and their message out to the world. I learned in assisting that a very large number of Persians are fed up with the Ayatollahs and see this agreement as the beginning of the end of the madness for them. Sometimes the world isn't really as it's presented by politicians, the media and those who prefer adversarial relations. Most people just want to live their lives and it's quite possible that this outcome can bear some fruit. There is the potential for change in Iran itself, mostly motivated by younger people who want no part of the same old, same old. Have a read, I expect no change in any minds here. Having dealt with younger Iranians years ago, I have a little more faith in them than most once the old die off. |
