The feud was highlighted by the well pudlicized squabble between Cuomo the Grouch and Big Bird over the air rights above Sunnyside yard. Diblazio wanted it for a shrine to liberalism, low income housing projects but Cuomo bitch slapped the bird, saying that the land "was spoken for."Of course we know for what it's spoken for. Another corrupt real estate scam but that's only the side show now. The real entertainment is watching the chieftans of liberalism trying to eat each other. Pass the salt! |

Regardless, I think having a train from Willets point is a longer commute for people than taking the Q70. Also the mayor didn't go because he was opposed to the idea, he wasn't there because he a cry baby. |

All I said about it was the feud between the two was well documented since the Sunnyside yard dust up. Personally, I think Big Bird opposes the LGA project because it would benefit more middle class people and not help low income people. |

I know people who have to deal with him daily and the post NAILED it! He (and wifey, who's REALLY running the show)is trying to get back to a pre-1994 NYC, where the "children" were left alone to run wild in the streets, wilding and robbing, as long as the big, bad PO-lice didn't violate dey rights! Ask the 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue Business Owner's Associations in Park Slope about how the last year and a half has been. I've heard it... "Kids" roaming the avenues, running in, grabbing whatever they could get, and running out, smashing displays, knocking said displays over, etc... They said this hasn't happened since the 80s for the most part. But Charlene gave the order: Police are not to "harass" the "children"..I truly think that The Rent is Too Damn High guy could have done a better job running this city. |
