Was July 4th cancelled for or because of Islam?

Embassies at Obama's homeland cancelled July 4th celebrations so that Muslims would not be offended(1) that the holiday coincides with the Muslim holiday Ramadan.
July 4th was cancelled at an air force base in a European country for fears that Islam was not properly appeased.

(1)the american flag has to come down at various universities and apartments in the South to appease Muslim anxieties and make them feel more welcome.

Did everyone here do their part in being inclusive and shun July 4 activities?

We were always told as children that might does not make right.

But we were apparently lied to.

The Islamofascists have demonstrated their willingness to kill innocent people for their ideals. They are bullying good and decent people. And our government is afraid of angering them.

So I guess might does make right after all.

The celebration at the US Embassy in Israel was not held on July 4 because it was a Saturday. No outrage for that decision?
