Did those people scare you? Are you that sheltered? Those idiots were as wimpy and lame as it gets. I was laughing my ass off. In the '70's, '80's and 90's they would have had their asses kicked up and down Union Sq. And then again. And again. |

Would any of those guys have lasted more than 3 minutes as recently as 20 years ago before having their heads cracked opened? This has become a city of milquetoasts. Of wannabes. That video is what passes for tough guys in NYC nowadays. And apparently, Dave, Mitch45 and chicagomotorman even find them intimidating. LOLOL!! |

My "homies" don't publicly talk shit in the middle of Union Square and say nonsense like "you're a dead man" to some nobodys while retreating in panic. My homies don't talk at all. |

People getting in other people's faces has ALWAYS been part of the sidewalk act. Looks like the good old fashioned "rumble" has also become a relic of the past. :)THIS is how it's done. Heh. |

You need the circle of yelling people around them to keep the cops or the do-gooders out. Those guys in the photo are just doing some stretches after a good game of skelly. |

Ya know, one of the funniest I saw, way back when I was a kid was a knife fight with 4 or 5 guys and a crowd urging em on. About 3 40Pct cars showed up...that kind of thinned the crowd a bit. The cops stayed in the cars and when it was over asked....."anybody need an ambulance?" Nope.....even though there was some blood everyone went home. Life went on....no cell phone videos, no you-tube to post it on and nobody paniced.Funny how things were back then. Jimmymc25 |

The cops stayed in the carsyep, those were the fond recollections of my childhood and teenage years which I mentioned here and it was considered normal. The kids today have no idea, especially those clowns in that video and those who think they're "fresh". |

Best part is that we had no one other than ourselves to learn how to deal with it ... on the spot. Inspired wisdom and a sense of "stop being a tard or it will be YOU instead of your sneakers hanging from that lamp post." :)People like the usual suspects here would NOT have survived their childhood. "Survival of the fittest" is no more. :( |
