He's running for mayor of Cerignola (in Puglia).He's on that Corriere link too. What happened here is that he had organized a fundraising dinner and had of course paid in advance. He had ordered his aide to make sure that the dinner have really good food so as to make a bella figura and thus paid accordingly. Instead what they got was a cheap, shitty buffet and a hell of a brutta figura. When he confronted the restaurant's managers, they told him that the cheap, shitty buffet was all the aide paid for. He then confronted the aide who admitted that he pocketed the difference. Then this happened. The guests are yelling: "Give it to him! Fuck him up!" This guy. His slogan is in the local dialect. I don't even know what it means.  His running mate:  That country is finished. |
