Train No. 76 from The Pas to Winnipeg, Manitoba under the command of Class U-1-d No. 6043. In September the railway will host one final "official trip". So like I worked EWR to LAX yesterday, land on 24R, and take the quote unquote Bridge Route to the South Complex. So now we are taxiing eastbound and as I pass 8 Alley, lo and behold, what do I see but an Alaska 737 dressed up in green colors with Portland Timbers written across the fuselage. It was not a sight I ever hope to see again in my lifetime not ever. I wish I could have those few seconds of my life back. Disturbing. I leave for Washington Dulles in a couple hours and then onto Orlando this evening. Have a good weekend... I guess. |

Only difference is, they usually walk around during evenings hours with pillow cases on their heads in the shape of cones..muttering something about 'the grand dragon'- Smoke Weed,dude..everyday. |

Sorry, had to :) Don't see AS too often down here. Seems they have one daily SEA-FLL and the return. Apparently, that flight used to go to MIA, but AS switched it to FLL a couple of years ago. I think SEA-MIA was a red-eye, I actually caught it on final to runway 9 back in 2011 (not the greatest pic):
