Minimal suffering...blade comes down...boom, off with the old noodle & your head makes the basket. Two points! The one thing the french got right. |

Except that the brain can keep you conscious and aware, for up to fifteen seconds after your head comes away from your neck. I don't even want to think about what THAT is like. Humane, it was NOT! |

So snoring during the execution makes it less humane than electricution? Where is the problem? The executed still dies a more humane death than the victim. The constitution never said anything about snoring or snorting. |

With leathal injection, how long do you suffer on the gurney, twitchin like a swordfish on deck after suddenly taken out of water, with all those drugs going thru you? Death takes longer than 15 seconds. And when old sparky juices you with 7000 amps (?) and smoke & sometimes sparks come out from under the helmet? Death surely takes longer than 15 seconds & has to be excruciatingly painful.Gas chamber? one time, the condemmed was seen banging on the side of his chair for 30 minutes till the gasses did the deed. Same thing as a firing squad. Shot in the heart, 10-15 seconds till brain function ceases. Thats gotta hurt big time. Nah, If Im ever in a situation where I'm facing capital punishment & I'm given a choice as to the method used to be dispatched to the next life, I'll choose a date with the madam. As the French used to call her, Madam Guillotine |

It's like putting an animal to sleep. Of course, some "victims" like to horse around and make a big show before their big departure. Gas chamber? one time, the condemmed (sic) was seen banging on the side of his chair for 30 minutes till the gasses did the deed More propaganda. Same as with lethal injection. |
