As a result, you'll see more cops putting in 30 years. Probably average age for hiring is about 25-28 and guys will work until 55-60. And while it sounds good, cops work crazy shifts. I have no problem with them retiring so relatively young. If you make them work longer you'll have an old police force and that's not good. |
