For both of you guys, I was never all that much into baseball, lived in the Bronx and hated the Yankees, so adopted the Mets when the Giants moved away. Really didn't know much about the Cubs other than their legend of being Chicago's Mets as far as World Series wins recently. So about all I can do here is offer my condolences to all since I never heard of Ernie Banks until now. That said, both of you should be aware that there is no bigger baseball fan on this earth than Al Sharpton. I'm sure he'll have plenty to say here. And I mean that with all honesty and respect. |
