Posted by AlM on Tue Nov 25 09:33:49 2014 Obama appoints Wall Streeter Antonio Weiss to be under secretary of Treasury, and she opposes him, mostly because he works on Wall Street, even though he's remarkably sympathetic to her causes.Maybe it's a ploy so that conservative Republicans don't dare oppose him for fear of being linked with her. :) Link |

I think one can run left and win the Democratic primaries. How you then move to the middle for a general election is the more difficult art form.She isn't going with a blatant "Obama is too conservative" message here, but more of a "Wall Street is bad and Washington is corrupted by the 1%". ----- My completely uninformed opinion/observation is that after the midterm failure, many loyal Democrats are wishing there was a credible alternative to Sen. Clinton. |
