Failure

I tried to be a Docent/Exhibition Guide for the Paul Cezanne retrospective which opened yesterday and runs through mid-March at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York of which I am a long time member. I was not selected. I have now failed at every single business venture and cultural undertaking I have attempted over the past couple three years every last one. The whole thing makes no sense.

Eight hours bottle to throttle so I can't go for that, no, no, no can do. I wish I woke up a couple hours earlier to read your post and drown my sorrows. I still hold onto that last thread of hope that my ice stand in west Newark will come to fruition no pun intended and become a thriving enterprise, an example of what a successful business model looks like. I will probably be successful and make a lot of money at least in the summertime.

You can always post to Subchat. What could possibly be more successful than that?

A question--right now you are certified for the 737, but you used to fly the A-320 family. Is your certification for that family still in effect, or if you wanted to go back to that flying, would you have to recertify?

Mainly asking because if you did, you might get this beauty:

Best UA livery ever! :)

I got the next best thing :)

My airplane departed C84 from Newark yesterday and that 320 was parked at the gate next to me. A couple years ago I pulled into Denver and that 320 was on one side and the 737 in the classic Continental livery was on the other. Tragically, I was sans which means without any means to capture the moment. My two previous tours with United I was on the Airbus but I'd have to go back to Denver TK to go through the Requalification course even though I am typed in the A320. Leaving San Francisco for Cancun this morning on the 1000. By the way, nice airplane model... enjoy your weekend.

Thanks. Think it is a Gemini model, 1:400

Ship 475 was working flight 215 EWR-LAX. It then did an LAX-SFO, so it caught up with you. They seem to never send it to FLL so I could get a pic :( (it seems it is mostly sCO flights w/ 737s to FLL, since sUA had completely pulled out of FLL before the merger).
