He did not enter mexico illegally. He crossed at a legal border crossing. He voluntarily notified Mexican authorities of his error of crossing the border with the 3 guns. If a Mexican enters this country illegally with weapons, I would hope that he would be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned. Of course we know that eric (the red) holder does not like ot imprison Mexicans and it seems that if they don't come with guns, holder is more than willing to supply them. |

My understanding from the news reports is that he drove through the "nothing to declare" line. That's arms smuggling. However, I do agree he did so out of mental illness and not any deliberate attempt to bring weapons into Mexico. |
