Certainly I don't believe ANY country is above criticism but I do think it's much more than "some" anti-Israel types. Too often when I read anti-Israel types I eventually see terms such as "the Chosen People" or "Zionists". |

There is also an Israeli left that is critical of their own country's policies. At least a couple of books have been published over here in the last few by Israeli's who are citicising their government's policies. That includes one author who also cites the faults of the other side, unfortunately he was not particularly hopeful for the future, but that was just his opinion.Sorry I don't have titles and authors, I just spent some time looking them over in the library. |

I don't see the antisemitism here.(a) Kashrut is not the same thing as Judaism. (b) Putting a pig's head adjacent to (sealed) kosher food wouldn't make it tref anyway. (c) Apparently they put pig heads in the halal food section as well, which further disputes the idea that they were motivated by antisemitism. That said, trying to protest the actions of a government by targeting companies that just happen to be based in the country in question is absurd. The BDS movement seriously needs to stop and think about how shit works because they're doing everything wrong. |
