I don't see what's wrong with imposing a penalty for prayer. It's the referee's job to make sure the game is played fairly, and making arrangements for someone who is not a player to interfere in the game to bring an advantage to one team is a clear violation of the rules. Or "unsportsmanlike conduct" at any rate, since apparently the NFL didn't think to make a rule against that specifically.He was lucky he was just flagged— he should have been ejected from the game for cheating. Or whatever the NFL does with cheaters. Giant catapult, maybe? |

No, that's the YEAR they put on the posters. But the election for which they didn't like the candidates was during high school. How could they know who the candidates would be ~15 years in the future? That's the "election" both he and ChiMoMa were referring to. |

I think they should just put a time limit on the celebration and prohibit obviously-unsportsmanlike stuff like taunting the other team, or doing anything insulting. As long as you're not acting against anyone/anything, just take your time to celebrate however you want and then move on.There are lots of celebrations I've seen in sports (goals in hockey, TDs in football, etc.) that I haven't really appreciated, but that doesn't mean they should be penalized or banned. |
