Yes, we lack the political will to attack a relatively small cancer with system-wide chemotherapy. Local surgery often works better on cancer even though it does increase the possibility of a recurrence.How many civilians are you willing to kill and how many civilians are you willing to impoverish for decades to eradicate terrorism? They don't have to be exact numbers. Just orders of magnitude. |

These terror orgs operate in multiple countries and are loosely organized. To be effective we would have to go into multiple countries to take them out which would be a foreign relations nightmare.
