I honestly don't know ... could it be because beta white folks think they're big and scary? Their kids listening to hip hop and gangsta rap and emulating it with laughable gang sign moves? I dunno.

While I DO admit, wiggers are laughable, I STILL don't think that would warrant innocent people getting incarcerated in order to fear weak white people's fear of a black "boogie man"....

People are in jail for TWO reasons... Either the police DIRECTLY caught them engaging in criminal acts OR a complaintent/witness pointed them out to police and signed a deposition stating that said people just committed a crime.

In most cases, true ... but there are an awful lot who ended up in jail who actually didn't do it and far more who die without getting a chance to get in front of that judge in the first place. There's merit to that counter-argument.

And think about that word "wiggers" for a minute. That doesn't help either.

That's the term. I didn't make it up AND since I don't let ANY word upset me or rule my life I didn't think twice before posting it, as anyone who knows me in real life would know the "spirit" of how it was written. I, probrably like you, grew up in a mixed neighborhood that was approx. half white, half Puerto Rican (at the time, now it's almost ALL asian)and terms like this were ALWAYS around, both disparaging to whites, and PRs but we ALL had a good laugh over them!

The innocent people in jail are overwhelmingly put there by a witness/complainent who PUT them there and literally swore to it that it was them. And most of the time, they were of the same race.

No worries ... just wanted to point it out to you because it pretty much describes just one of the many nuances that slip right past most people ... wanted to just dwell on it for a second as but one example.

I grew up when I was real young in Riverdale, when I hit my teens I was living in Kingsbridge across the street from the Marble Hill PJ's. Before I left the city, I was living on Sedgewick so I was rather well immersed in all of the Bronx and everywhere I was, the people were all real cool. Never had a problem. Except when I got shot by some dude who was aiming for somebody else.

THEN the fun began for me with the 50 because the mentality was "well ... if you got shot, you MUST have done something" despite the situation. Got tossed frequently by detectives trying to catch me doing something that wasn't going to happen. Got REAL tired of that shit fast. :(

And as to that last sentence, YEP ... big problem actually. :(

It IS a big problem, especially when it's intentionally done.

The only time I ever got tossed was I got caught ONCE hopping the train (my fat friend ratted me and my other friend out as we ran so the police came to my door, believe it or not. No arrest made though as I was saved by my father and uncle (PD). I guess in some people's eyes that's a form of corruption, but fuck it, it worked in my favor!!

I've always been straight and narrow, had plenty of buddies over at the 52 and 8th Detectives there in Norwood, but that didn't buy me anything with the 50. Plenty of cops in the family as well from Transit to Midtown to mostly staties. That also didn't buy me anything. I was getting tired of the rat race anyway, so moved upstate and no worries. So sometimes having plenty of cops on your side doesn't help either. :)

Guess it matters where you are, and who you know. When I lived at 204 and Webster, my buddies from the 52 and I would shoot up the local bar. :)

OK, back to basics.

Define "liberal."

Define "conservative."

Or shut up.

There is a video on you tube when the shooting first happened and Mike Brown was laying in the street. There was a guy that seen the shooting talking in the background. Another guy asked why Mike Brown was laying pointed toward the cop car instead of away. He said Mike Brown was coming at the cop the cop was shooting he thought the cop was missing because Mike Brown kept coming. NEED TO SEE!
