President zerobama, taking his cue from David Cameron, delayed his golf game by 3 1/2 minutes to tell the Foley family how tragic their son's death was and how he's taking the incident very seriously. |

Beats the shit out of me but at least it looked presidential. OTOH our president tells these parents how tragic and how serious etc but then runs off to play golf. Not very impressive.Slightly different but on topic: There were many nights and weekends when I could have handled a snow storm or derailment or other "emergency" from home by phone or internet BUT my boss always felt better knowing that I was there to deal with the issue first hand. |
