Posted by SelkirkTMO on Thu Jul 24 05:56:37 2014 Really sad news actually ... aside from the TransAsia crash yesterday:Taiwan says weather not seen as cause of plane crash that killed 48 There's also these: Algeria lost contact with Air Algerie aircraft: APS state news agency and currently breaking: Spain's Swiftair says contact lost with Airbus A320 plane which was expected to land in Algiers; 110 passengers, six crew members on board. Reuters has not yet created a slug for this story as it just occurred. http://www.reuters.com/ And as far as MH17 goes, this: Exclusive: Ukraine rebel commander acknowledges fighters had BUK missile I'm gonna stay in bed. |

I believe the SwiftAir and Air Algerie are the same flight. From what I've heard Air Algerie was chartering the SwiftAir plane.Obviously early reports on this one. |
