Posted by cortelyounext on Mon Apr 14 07:50:46 2014 fiogf49gjkf0d I am down here in San Juan. Last evening, I sipped a couple dark German beers at the bar while watching the Masters. I then enjoyed a Balvenie Doublewood with a plate called Mofongo which is a Puerto Rican staple consisting of smashed up plantains with shrimp or meat and creole rice. I am threatening to attempt this recipe when I get back. I usually have one or two drinks but I felt it necessary to drown my sorrow for the abject humiliation scorn ridicule call it what you will I felt after being stood up in Las Vegas by an unnamed individual who is a published playwright, noted jounalist, and leading activist of the LGBTQIA Community. Said individual left me standing in the terminal wearing my big SubChat button as Delta flight crews walked by and hurled ~~veiled~~ insults. I felt like a total loser which is what I am let's face it.

I was down there for a weekend 8 years ago. Stayed at the Holiday Inn near the airport. Room was on the south side of the building, nice view of the mountains and better yet, arrivals on runway 8 :) (Sorry, didn't see any of your guys when I was there. At least back in 2006, you still had the code share w/ US) :)
