I just remembered something.

You were scheduled to do a short flight from EWR to LGA.

Did that flight ever happen?

Its crazy they retired the entire fleet shortly after that one plane crashed.

The Concorde flew again after the crash, it was retired for other reasons as well, including the fact that air travel overall went down after 9/11.

I know the Concorde flew again after the crash, I remember when it first happened, then I remember the media making a big deal about the entire fleet retiring a few years later.

The Concordes were also older than the oldest flying 747's, they sucked down fuel and maintenance costs. Just got too expensive to keep them going. We used to time our break and end of lunchtime when they took off at JFK at 9am and 1pm every day from behind Hgr 17 and 19.
