PUP's are malware that are released by companies that threaten to sue an antivirus for removing them. This was the compromise with the lawyers, alerting the user that they're there and let the user decide instead of the antivirus. Yank them all ... your system will thank you later.PUP's are programs that are usually snuck in with a program you want, this is how vendors get paid for "free software" by loading machines up with crap. Lose them, shoot them all and let Bill Gates sort 'em out. :) |
