Admittedly, I know little about flying so would you explain to me how the pieces of the plane fell off due to a crew screw-up. What can a crew do to cause pieces of a plane to fall off in flight? |

We could give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he meant the maintenance crew and not the flight crew. :)Also, too sharp a maneuver can cause excessive forces on a plane. I guess if that happens and you're lucky a piece of the wing falls off. If you're not lucky the plane crashes, like AA 587 on 11/12/2001. |
