FiOS just rolled out their new "home screen" and "software upgrades" for their TV boxes. I'm hearing that it isn't going very well. Rest assured, it's Verizoff ... it's them. And thanks to their bandwidth not eating up the pipe coming up the Thruway from New Jersey, it's pretty good here right now on TimeWeenie.Have you seen the new "home screen" yet on the tuner box? LOL! |

In Baltimore City the first company to wire the City got a "one and only" franchise which means no other company can wire cable. This was in the late 1980's and 5 other companies until the last got in a "too many" , so Comcast bought it for 5.5 Million, then discovered they had to put 9 Million into it to bring it to their standards. |
