Many cars of the surviving cars that vintage have been converted to hot-rods. For some models you'd be hard pressed to find a car like that in its original form. It's a shame really. |

The golden age of American automobiles ended with the 1971 model year. After that, style took a back seat to pollution and safety regulations. Then, the Arab oil embargo downsized cars. |
