Maybe it does in your simple world.However, in the real complicated one, even minorities need to prove how the discrimination came about. The minority firefighters were all lifelong residents, and had proof of how the school system failed them, resulting in a deficit in being able to pass a test weighted on reading comprehension. You can't just go to court and say something like this is solely based on skin color. That doesn't fly. You have to prove how and why discrimination happens to win in court. |
