According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irreligion_in_the_United_States 15% of people in the USA have no religion. In addition there are those who believe in religions that have no gods. Perhaps the Democrats are trying to appeal to the non-religious demographic. Politicians are always looking for constituencies to please, or at least not to offend. |
