Mine is nine and when people see him in the park they don't believe it. He's very active, alert and energetic. He does have some arthritis in his hips especially during the cold months.His breeder was great and she only bread champion line stud dogs from Germany and Europe. She had all his lines AKC registered and I have the papers. My dog is more European with less angles and doesn't have the exaggerated sloped backs like American lines. He also is very aggressive with strong hunting and prey drive unlike American lines do. |
