Bicycles were there before automobiles too. Bikes got their own lanes, even though by the definition of some leftists that might be a sort of Jim Crow accommodation ("separate but equal" facilities and all—the ADA touts this in order to make accommodation at railroad stations and on board trains more expensive for transit agencies). People who walk get their own lanes too, only we call them "sidewalks" and raise their level above that of the roadway. (Jim Crowism‼) |
