Because if they addressed problems that were actual problems then they wouldn't be Republicans, they'd be Democrats. See Freedom Fries.Oh, and "fixing" this particular non-issue allows them to disenfranchise thousands of likely Democratic voters who lack the documents these modern day Jim Crow laws require. |
