I worked in UT in the early 80's and one had to pay a membership to drink in a bar. I remember paying 15 bucks at a place in Salina so I could have a drink and a steak (That rule has been lifted and one can simply walk into a bar and order up now). I also remember buying beer in a store in Moab that was a cinder block building and one slid the money under a partition like at a train ticket window and out came a case of beer :PI met nice people in UT and would go back to visit anytime. your pal, Fred |
