The massacre is already off the main news.Nobody cares. It wasn't white people who died. Yeah. I'm going to agree with you here. There are several reasons. The main reason is that Sikhs were the victims and most Americans just can't relate to them and brush off this attack. But if this happened at a black church, it would not be off "the main news". So your white theory is only partially true. Another reason is that the shooter used a single handgun. Had he been "heavily armed" it would have been a bigger story. Also it's too soon after Aurora. Supposedly this guy was in a "hate rock" band. I think there was a big hate rock rave near Orlando two or three years ago and the FBI used it as an opportunity to take down license plates, credit card numbers from local hotels, and fly a helicopter over the event to fuck with them. THIW. |
