Well just as a matter of fact, in 2008, the murder rate in LA was 9.6 per 100,000 population. It's dropped .8% since then. In NY in 2007, the murder rate was 6.3 per 100,000 and has dropped every year since. So perhaps in LA had adopted the NY method of "Stop & Frisk", LA might be as safe as New York. Just a thought. |
