In limiting the rights of half the population, a majority ( women being 53% of the population) of second class citizens is created. This eliminates freedom and creates at tyrannical minority. There will be no democracy in this scenario.It's archaic because it does not serve the expansion of rights or address the needs of society in this time. Other than that, stop reading dystopian fiction. |
