Question About Obama's Slave Lineage

As we all know, Obama is now African-American and descendant of the first US slave.

Every major newspaper and network news covered the story.

If it was discovered that Obama's white ancestors owned slaves, would the same liberal MSM have devoted as much time to the story? Would it be covered at all.
