The NCAA is a private organization and can do as it wishes. They've suspended teams before and I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again. The point is to punish the administrators so they remain watchful over their staff in the future.Students can transfer out, and I'm sure if other schools seek a particularly talented athlete they'll woo them to transfer with scholarships and any legal perks they can provide. |
