Well there's actually more staff involved than that and that's not really how it works. Whenever the NCAA sanctions a team, they are almost always sanctioning athletes that weren't involved, although they are allowed to transfer. They do it as an example for other teams. But then, that's regarding athletes and eligibility. To my knowledge, it's not their responsibility to punish teams for criminal behavior within the athletic department unrelated to athletics. This would be a first afaik. |
