Talent doesn't make editorial decisions. You're equating Ken dolls with bloggers. That this story made it to air at all was the decision of at least one news producer and a news director. Nothing happens on television without a large round of okey-dokeys by management.No, this is a management problem that it ever made it to air. Talent isn't consulted by news management. They read what's in front of their faces on the prompter. Yes indeed Ross got it all wrong. But his wrong had to be approved and vetted before he got to move his lips. Every second of show time is carefully scripted and timed. |
