While I can see hysterectomies in women performed all the time to save a woman's life, I don't think I ever heard that a vasectomy in a male would be necessary to save a life. A castration, perhaps in the case of testicular cancer or something, but what life saving measure could be had by cutting the vas defrens from sending sperm into the semen? |
