There is no perfect form of government, as human nature is always going to act in a way to derail it. In essence every form of government makes sense, depending on the region, the religion etc. But people's need for wealth and power will always triumph in the end. Democracy is perfect in theory because everyone gets a voice, but then it becomes how will things get done as people won't do what they won't like even if its necessary. Monarchy's are excellent so long as the rule keeps his people happy and prosperous, because the decision making power is in one person so they assume all responsibilities and risk but they can make the choice that isn't popular but beneficial to their people. But of course we know what happens when Monarchs become soiled. Communism in essence is excellent too, everyone is equal, we all work for the community and the common good, but then where is the reward for the work put forth? Why is the doctor on the same level as the fisherman?

But Democracy as a government form does not suck, its just the people in the governments that do.
